ラサ・デ・セラ(Lhasa de Sera)ほどではありませんが、 13歳からパリで育ったアメリカ人マドレーヌ・ペルー(Madeleine Peyroux)もかなり変わった境遇で育ったようです。このアルバムの中でこの曲『青色警報』Blue Alertだけ耳に残り、セレクションに残していました。よくできたフェイクのような違和感があります。といってもそれ が味わいです。
この曲はレナード・コーエン(Leonard Cohen)の書いたものですが、彼がプロデュースしたアンジャニ・トーマス(Anjani Thomas)のアルバムBlue Alertが同じ2006年に出ており、そちらはまさしく正調という感じです。
