　ジョスリン・プーク（1960-）はひじょうに才能にあふれた人らしく、バイオリンもやれば声楽もやる、シンセサイザーを使った作曲もし、キューブリックの『アイズ・ワイド・シャット（Eyes wide shut:1999）』他、いろいろな映画の音楽を手がけています。これは『ローマの部屋(2010)』のサウンドトラックの一曲ですが、アルバムとしてもすばらしく、これらの音楽によって映画の格が数段上がっています。
　プークが歌うラテン語の部分はレクイエムの始めの部分です。その後、ヒンズー語、ペルシャ語の歌唱が続きますが、意味は分かりません。

　ミサの終了後の赦祷式(Absolutio ad Tumbam)で歌われる赦祷文 (Responsorium)：ヴェルディ、フォーレの曲がある.
